For the last 20 years, I've run my own successful wedding stationery business; designing, producing, and doing all the marketing myself while raising my children. I know what it's like to build a business in the margins of life, juggling school runs with client calls, and trying to find time for marketing when there simply aren't enough hours in the day.
Before going solo, I worked in various business roles including sourcing, supply chain management, and process improvement. But I'm a creative at heart. My first job out of school was as a graphic designer, back in the days of drawing boards, Letraset, and Rotring pens, before everything went digital. I've always lived in that sweet spot between creativity and organisation.
I learned marketing hands-on, through trial and error, while building my business. Every strategy, every tactic, every "marketing hack" that didn't work. I've tried it. Most recently, I returned to study and completed an MSc in Marketing, combining all those years of practical experience with proper strategic foundations.
Now I help other solo entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate their marketing without the overwhelm. I translate the jargon, cut through the noise, and help you build marketing that actually fits into your real life.
I love spreadsheets and lists almost as much as I love a good brand story. I'm a natural-born organiser who genuinely gets excited about a well-planned content calendar. But over the years I’ve learned that flexibility and adaptation are just as important if you actually want to get stuff done.
When I'm not working, you'll find me escaping in my campervan to the beach or heading to music festivals. I love going to gigs, and one of the toughest decisions I navigate on the daily is Vans or DMs. I might be the oldest teenager alive, but I'm completely fine with that.
I understand that marketing isn't just about tactics and metrics. It's about showing up authentically, consistently, and in a way that feels sustainable for you and your business.
If you're a solo entrepreneur who needs marketing support that's practical, jargon-free, and understanding of the juggling act you're already doing, let's talk.
